Yesterday was a crazy day for me! Up at 4am, Madrid to Gatwick by 8.30am, a fun session with Jools Holland at the BBC studios in Maida Vale, finished by 1.30pm and headed straight back to Gatwick for a 4.30pm departure back to Madrid and finally back home to the mountain and my little family by 9pm. I'm glad I don't schedule these kind of days too often, Ouff!!
This pre-recorded session will be on Jools' new radio show sometime in October.
It was an honor to be a guest where we talked a bit about my life in music, the recordings that first moved me as a child and my newly published authorized biography. We also managed to play two of the tracks from my soon to be released album titled So Many Routes, featuring my great friend, Grammy award winning country rock guitar legend Albert Lee.
